What you will learn?
With huge global urbanization, interior design has never offered so many opportunities to change people's lifestyles. This program will develop in you the conceptual, theoretical, and technical knowledge necessary for career advancement where a place and people meet, in a diverse range of private, public, residential, and commercial environments. Extensive program modules cover the full range of interior design spectrum, going through the complete design process: from idea through realization, project elaboration, and through realization on site. The lecturers are experienced experts from the region, and you will have the opportunity to listen to guest lecturers from all over the world who will visit Molèn during the semester because of you.

1. Getting to know the lecturer and his design philosophy
2. Interior design styles: This lecture provides a basic understanding of different interior design styles and helps you develop critical thinking and aesthetic sensibility in the interior design process.
3. and 4. Context, inspiration, concept, design brief, mood board: We will try to make you understand the importance of the context in which the interior design project is located. After understanding the context, you will learn about the process of finding design inspiration, and then focus on understanding and creating a design brief. We explain how mood boards are created using different media such as photos, textures, colors, patterns, and materials - in order to communicate the desired mood or feeling of space.
5. Design process, function, floor plan, ceiling plan: Key aspects of the interior design process, with a focus on functionality and space planning in order to create optimal and aesthetically appealing interiors. We point out the importance of careful planning of every element of the space in order to achieve a harmonious and functional design.
6. and 7. Working with different spaces: living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, study: In this lecture, we focus on developing a deeper understanding of the specifics of different rooms in the interior, adjusting the design of each room in accordance with its function and the needs of the clients, then on the ability to efficiently plan the layout and use of space and improve aesthetic sensibility and the ability to create attractive interiors.
8. and 9. Materials, floors, walls, ceilings, material trays: The importance of choosing suitable materials for creating functional, aesthetically attractive and durable interiors. Attendees will learn about the various characteristics of materials used in interior design, including texture, color, durability, maintenance and environmental sustainability. We will also cover how to choose the right materials for floors, walls and ceilings in different rooms such as living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, taking into account the specific requirements and functions of each room. You will learn how the selected materials affect the aesthetics of the space and how to combine different materials to achieve the desired look and atmosphere.
10. and 11. Colors and textures: What do you get from this lecture? Deeper understanding of the importance of colors and textures in interior design, the development of skills in selecting, combining and applying colors and textures in space. Creative expression and personalization of space through the use of colors and textures
12. Design details: bathroom. kitchen, built-in furniture: In this lecture, we will talk about the specific requirements and trends in bathroom design, including the choice of sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, fixtures, lighting and materials that are suitable for wet environments. Participants will learn how to efficiently organize the kitchen space, choose appropriate kitchen elements, as well as how to plan the arrangement of appliances, sinks, work surfaces and storage areas. The lecture will cover the design of built-in closets, shelves, wardrobes, beds and other pieces of furniture that can be adapted to the specific needs and dimensions of the space.
13. Light design: Concept, Elements: The lecture will cover various elements of lighting design, including types of lighting fixtures, light colors, light intensity, light distribution and lighting controls. You will also understand how lighting can affect the aesthetics of a space, emphasizing certain design elements or creating a certain atmosphere. You will learn to create a space that optimally uses light to achieve maximum comfort, efficiency and aesthetics.
14. Furniture: Understanding the deeper layers of furniture design, with a focus on functionality, aesthetics and practicality. Development of creative skills and ability to adapt different styles and materials in interior design. Improving the ability to solve design challenges and create a space that efficiently uses the available space
15. Textiles: Attendees will explore a wide range of textile materials used in interior design, including furniture fabrics, curtains, wallpaper, carpets and decorative fabrics. The lecture will cover the influence of colors, patterns and textures of textiles on the atmosphere and appearance of a space - creative use of textiles to add warmth and texture to a space.
16. Plants, Artwork: You will learn how plants and pictures can influence the atmosphere and aesthetics of a space, how to choose appropriate plants and pictures that reflect the style, personality and wishes of the clients. Use them to personalize and improve the interior and create a harmonious and interesting atmosphere.
17. and 18. Presentation and awarding of certificates.
To do homework, which is part of the final work, you need a computer and some version of the AutoCAD program
At the end of the training, regular participants receive an official certificate from the Molèn Academy.
Note: Due to the quality of lectures and workshops, the number of places for live teaching is limited to 2 groups of 9 people.
Lectures in Belgrade are held once a week from 5.30 pm to 9.00 pm, on the premises of the Molèn Academy, for a period of five months.
Tuition for lectures in Belgrade: 1190 euros + VAT, payment is possible in five installments.
Lectures in Montenegro are held once a month (Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm), for a period of five months.
Tuition for lectures in Podgorica: 1490 euros + VAT, payment is possible in five installments.
